3. Are the website designs generated from templates or are they custom designed from scratch?
We don’t believe in templates. This may be tempting – it might seem like an easy, less expensive option, but this will ultimately result in a website that is identical to everyone else’s. Your website should be unique – to stand out and function optimally, it should be tailored to your individual business needs and target audience. We believe that there is no “one size fits all” option in website design unless you’re satisfied with homogeneity and mediocrity. There are many compelling reasons why we opt for custom design over templates: to name another, customization also means that your website will be designed to be optimized on search engines.
4. What is the cost?
We make sure that we detail exactly what will be provided for the amount you are quoted. We always ensure that the complete scope of work is made clear before we begin a project. The amount you are quoted takes into account a range of different factors, including complexity of the design and size/breadth of the project. 5. How long will it take?
Timelines for completion will vary depending on multiple factors, such as size and complexity of the project, and what other services are to be provided - for example, professional copywriting, logo design, etc (see below for a list of all the services we offer). On average, however, it generally takes 28 days to build a website. This timeframe will also depend on you – web design is a collaborative process, and some input and information from you, as well as approval during each stage of the process, will be needed. We strive to keep you updated every step of the way, but also appreciate your timely cooperation in maximizing your experience with us.
6. Can I edit/update the website myself?
Yes! Your website can be built so that you can make changes and updates to it yourself once it has been handed over. The content management system (CMS) we will build into the site is easy to use, so you don’t need advanced technical knowledge to edit text, add pictures, and a range of other self-managed functions. We also offer complimentary training once we hand the site over so that you’re confident making changes or additions yourself.
7. How will you make sure my site is findable?
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is one of the most popular services we provide to ensure that your site ranks highly on search engines like Google. Your site will be built with best SEO practices in mind, and our team of digital marketing specialists will tailor an SEO campaign to suit your needs.
8. Will the site be mobile compatible or responsive?
Given the now prevalent use of smartphones, we think designing websites to be responsive on mobile phones – and on all devices, from desktop PCs and laptops to tablets – is essential. We provide this service at very competitive rates to reflect this.

12. What do I need to supply?
Web design is a two-sided process, so while we’ll do all the hard work here so that you can focus on running your business, we will need some input from you initially and along the way.
Some of the things we will ask you for before and during the design process:
- Information about your business, including the products and services you offer, location, mission statement, etc.
- Your aesthetic preferences in terms of the look and feel you’d like for the site – your choice regarding design elements like colour, layout, etc.
- Images, links and information you want to use on the site
- If we are providing you with professional copywriting, information about content – if not, you will need to provide this content yourself
- Feedback for each stage of the design process
